Meet your local guide for the day and board on the coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, first quick stop will be to one of the most prestigious cameo and coral factories in the region to see the production of typical Italian carvings. Soon after the guide will start guided tour of the ruins. Pompeii was lost for 1700 years, partially destroyed and buried under ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. On this tour you’ll see the uncovered remains of life as it was on the day of the eruption. See the ancient baths, bakeries, the arena, and even the brothel. The frozen remnants of Pompeii tell a compelling story about the day the volcano erupted. Continued excavation of the site has revealed statues, skeletons, and tools for you to see. Not only that, but you’ll also learn about what people were eating, the clothes they were wearing, and much more about the day of the eruption.
After 3 hours visit approx, you will have free time for lunch before heading back to the Amalfi Coast.
After a tranquil breakfast enjoying the early morning sun from our terrace, you will board the ferry at the pier below the hotel. This cruise operates every day with departure at 9.00 a.m. Soft drinks will be served on board. Once we reach the Faraglioni rocks, probably the most scenic place in Capri, the cruise will stop for a relaxing swim in the beautiful waters of the nearby Green Cave and White Cave. We will also stop for a visit in the famous Blue Grotto. Arrival and disembarkation at the port of Marina Grande approx. 12.00 o’clock and free time for visiting the island until 4 o’clock.

The Lattari Mountains, up to Campanella Point, constitute a territory that is one of the most suggestive and celebrated of the world. It is an impressive show and imposing view of precipitous cliffs above the “pending waves”.

The current Ravello Festival derives from a series of previous initiatives which make it the oldest of the Italian festivals after the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Girolamo Bottiglieri and Paolo Caruso are to be attributed with the idea of the cultural event which, more than any other thing, has contributed towards building the identity of Ravello as a “Città della musica” – City of Music.
To further widen the offer, an even longer list of concerts is offered by the Ravello Concert Society usually from April until the end of October, in several location of the music-voted town, like the Annunziata Historical Building and the futuristic Oscar Niemeyer auditorium.
Two big caves overlap just above the sea, the big dance floor is covered with plates of glass where the underlying sea is seen along with the stalactites and the stalagmites that are illuminated with iridescent reflections.
Local fishers come in during the most frenzied peak of the dancing, and dredge a sinkhole in the edge of the dance floor with nets, pulling up bountiful catch of seafood for consumption in local restaurant.
